What Makes It Awesome

The Rajasthani jutti aka moojari is as old as the state shares, Nupur, Founder of The Vintage Stitches. Typically made of leather, these symbols of royalty simply lacked romance in terms of style and design to her. So to make them much more affordable and appealing, she began The Vintage Stitches.

The collection of juttis here are a true sight for sore eyes and so skillfully made you'd want to caress them in your arms before flaunting them on your feet. Each design is made keeping in mind a theme, shares Nupur. She hand draws and then also puts together the colour scheme before her tribe of proficient masters bring them to life.

The first thing you will spot ladies, like we did are the 'Din Shayna Da' juttis, curated especially for your big day. These features zardosi embroidery work, sequins, ghungroos and a hand-painted caricature of the bride and groom. Plus, these can be customised to the colours of your outfit. For more lighter everyday use, we'd point you to the 'Papillon', French for butterfly, these have cute little sequined butterflies on a blush pink base. To mimic and elevate the original royal feel, The Vintage Stitches has 'Afreen', a collection that features heavy zardosi work juttis for special occasions.

That's not all, there's thread work, patch work, mirror work and feather work juttis too! Latest entrants to this party of footwear are loafers, slides and open back block heeled juttis, embellished more or less the same way.
