Handlooms, Diyas & Street Food: Deep Utsav In Noida Is A Legit Reason To Binge & Shop

The information in this post might be outdated

What Is It?

The first Diwali mela to kick start the festivities in this side of town is here. Opposite the Noida Stadium, the City Centre grounds hosting a three-day gala with lots of street food, shopping and cultural performances thrown in. In short, the typical meal things.

Who Is It For?

Chaat monsters, compulsive shoppers and those hoping to soak in the festive flavour during the Navratras. We hear they have folk performances and competitions for kids too.

Why Should I Go For It?

It’s been going strong for 14 years and we know Noida dwellers who’ve made it a sort of an annual tradition to visit.

Right from terracotta planters to juttis, fabrics to diyas, it’s just the place to find stuff for your home and sort your Diwali party wardrobe without making that trip to Delhi. It’s also a good chance to meet some of the country’s finest craftsmen who put up stalls here. In fact, there are more than 450 brands to meet. Over and above all the kachoris and golgappas that you and your gang will hog on.

Anything Else?

Missed the Noida one? It goes to Indirapuram from Sept 29-Oct 2 near Habitat Centre. Find more info here

When: Sept 22 – 24

Where: City Centre Grounds, Sector 25A
