I'm not naming names but you know those same shops that you check out first when you're in need of something new, whether it's a dress or a pair of earrings. Have you noticed how they're sometimes just the same style, same silhouette recycled? If you're as over it as I am and are on the hunt for original, handmade pieces to add to your wardrobe, you're in luck. At LBB's Artists Bazaar, we're celebrating artists doing their own thing in the coolest way possible, made even cooler by the fact that we get to shop from them online. Yay!
Original & Handcrafted: Our Top Fashion Picks From The LBB Artists Bazaar
Shell Embroidered Blue & Pink Tie & Dye Coiled Necklace
Tie-dye's been all the rage in 2020 and it's one trend I'm not prepared to let go of, and neither are artists. This necklace by Juhi Malhotra is an awesome way of adding a pop of colour (and sass) to your otherwise basic OOTD and the seashells remind me of being at the beach (or on Instagram watching everyone's Goa stories.) The best part about tie-dye is that every piece looks unique so you've picked up something truly special.

Ajrakh Printed Half Sleeves Shirt
There's something about an OTT printed shirt that I love, and not just because Harry Styles made it cool in 2020. I love the trippy print on this Filemot shirt and recommend going a bit oversized or anti-fit, worn with a basic turtleneck inside and layered with a ton of gold necklaces or chunky jewellery is the easiest way to looking indie cool, effortlessly.
Contrast Floral Embroidered Mint Leather Juttis
I love juttis, not just with suits but I also love how they look with jeans for a fusion look. These embroidered ones by La Fiza would be a welcome addition in your shoe closet, not only to be worn with kurtas but literally with any outfit at all because they're just so pretty.
Khaki & Sienna Midi Summer Dress
Probably my favourite silhouette ever, midi dresses are super chic yet comfortable enough to be worn any way you'd like, casually or dressed up. Vritta's handmade apparel is made with breathable and skin-friendly fabrics, making khaki an easy-breezy way to get through the day.
Oxidised Silver Tribal Fish Earrings
I have no shame in admitting this but I really, really love hoarding unique earrings. When a piece of jewellery looks like no one else probably owns it, I'm all over it; Style99's handcrafted jewellery is exactly that - it's unique, cute and (my wallet thanks them) affordable. I love these fish earrings because fish are cute but also because when worn, they look so cool with ethnic apparel or even with a plain white tee.
Envelop Flap Lock Detail Pastel Printed Clutch
Take one look at this bag and you'll know it was made by an artist. The gorgeous pastel shades look super soothing and while it's got a bunch of different colours, it's a bag that doesn't look OTT; this piece of art is made by the mother-daughter duo behind Brickroad Art & Design and honestly, I can't get enough of the colours.
Watermelon Graphic Sneakers
Nothing says quirky quite like a pair of shoes with hand-painted watermelons. Funky N Trendy's shoes are made with water resistant paints (phew) and vegan leather (double phew) that aren't just cute, they're also damn comfortable. Walk in a room with these on and you're guaranteed to have everyone staring at your feet (wear cute socks!)
Fringed & Crystal Embellished Slides
Speaking of people staring at your feet (is it getting weird yet?), another fancy attention grabber is this pair of slides by Spades By Rachel. They handcraft slides and kohlapuris that are trending big time right now and these slides are my personal favourite. You could very easily say bye to uncomfortable heels and slide on this pair and still look like you're dressed and ready for somewhere fancy.
