Harajuku Tokyo Cafe is serving Japan-inspired street food and has already made a place in the hearts of many Delhiites with their first outlet in Select City Walk, Saket. Now ready to take Gurgaon by storm, they've launched their second spot in Ambience Mall. True to Harajuku, a street in Tokyo known for pop-culture, colour and cosplay, this place celebrates that in all it's glory. Possibly the newest, most Instagrammable Café in town, with neon wall quotes, cloud lighting fixtures, colourful furniture, sakura trees and booth type seating, it's worth a visit.
All of their dishes are prepared by renowned Japanese chefs so rest assured that what you're having is authentic Japanese food. Sushi is rolled to perfection and served with fresh wasabi and ginger, pan-fried gyozas are juicy on the inside and crispy brown on the outside, and match well with boba tea, if you have heart eyes for that drink. You have the option to get it custom made or get a flavour they already have. I got and loved the mocha one. There's also fresh-baked breads, sandwiches, baos, bento bowls (rice and noodles), poke bowls and more. Plus, this outlet also has new additions like Shrimp dynamite, Gyoza ramen, Lotus Biscoff pancakes and Mochi doughnuts.
Coming to my favourite part, desserts. Everyone who comes here needs to try their cheesecakes and the best part is that they have tasters available, a smart move I would say because anyone who has a bite wouldn't be able to resist ordering it. Their Jiggly Pancakes are heaven on a plate, served in seven different flavours - Tiramisu, Strawberry, Nutella, Matcha, Creme' Brulee, Maple Syrup and Biscoff. I chose to get the biscoff and loved it - 2 giant, pillowy, jiggly pancakes served with ice cream! Yum.
So, If you choose to visit this place you’ll probably end up finding something you like so much that your heart will say, yeh dil manga more (get it?)
