Do you keep losing your rubber bands and hairclips every time? Have to do last-minute treasure hunt for your masks before leaving the house? Your WFH desk is always messy? Believe in saving the planet and want to adopt a sustainable way of life? The answer to it all is Haus De Rope, the new brand on our sustainable radar!
Started by a mother-daughter duo, Rashi Agarwal and Ipsita Agarwal, Haus De Rope curates sustainable furniture and decor by upcycling objects sold as scrap --- discarded containers, torn and worn old tyres, cardboard scraps and some such. They beautifully upcycle them into utility-centric furniture and decor using jute and cotton ropes.
Their Mini Organisers are ideal for keeping masks, car keys, everyday accessories, medicines and can also double up as office desk organisers for the pendrives and USBs. The Handle Baskets are super convenient to keep your kid's toys in their room or as a towel basket for the washroom and even fruits and vegetables will look pretty in them. Their Placemats, made with a combination of jute rope and dyed rope, will make your space look more vibrant and lively. And if you have a green thumb, you will definitely want their Round Planter Baskets which has pretty jute flower embellishments, apt for your living rooms, foyer area and balconies. Go all trendy with their Rope Wall Hangings made with pure pinewood and jute ropes --- the evil eye hanging is our favourite! We recommend their Ottomans that look bomb in green polka, aztec print and black floral.
Haus De Rope is open to customisations and their prices range from INR 55 to INR 1500.
