What can you expect from a restaurant near the airport? Daryaganj, an exclusive and fanciest restaurant in Delhi serving the world’s best Butter Chicken. Not to forget, I am talking about the founders of the dish, which made India world famous.
My visit to the restaurant was an amazing experience as the owner and the staff was very warm and welcoming. The first thing that grabs the attention is their beautiful and bright interiors which just makes your visit very promising. One of their head, walked me through their legacy of how this restaurant sustains its simplicity and how they have kept the restaurant’s authenticity just like their owners in ’90s.
So, talking about the food, the staff suggested me dishes which were ultimate. I started with an amazing and damn refreshing mocktail, Laung Elaichi. For starters, we ordered the platter with veg kebabs and mushrooms. It was very well cooked and really soft. Everything on the platter looked so nice and amusing. And then the main course, including my favorite and staff suggested Butter Paneer and Dal Makani (Had to taste eat) along with fried aloo and raita (must in summers). For breads we ordered, Garlic naan, and Lacchha paratha. Not to forget, we had the best desserts Kulfi and Phirni, which was just downright.
Everything I ate was really well presented and had that authentic North Indian creamy richness in the food which I loved it. It was just prefect and on point and especially with such pleasant vibe during lunch just seemed posh and elite. Overall, it was an admirable experience of having lunch at this beautiful place with an amazing set of staff. It’s definitely worth visiting.
All the butter chicken lovers (Punjabis) what you are waiting for? This restaurant just has it all
