The festival is for cake and art lovers, amateur bakers, aspiring chefs, future Instagram-influencers, and sweet-toothed folks {so basically, everybody!}. Invite your friends, family and loved ones, and head here for a very sweet and decadent affair.
What Can I Expect?
Intricately designed cake installations by leading brands like The Academy Of Pastry Art, Dezertfox, Maya Cakes, My Sweet boutique, Firefly India Cakes, Chokola and much more. Each of these biggies will be creating elegant art pieces based on themes like wedding, Game of Thrones, Ballerina, origami and cakes painted with the faces of famous artists like Vincent Van Gogh. This will surely have you clicking photos, posing with these installations and seeing a surge in the number of likes on your Instagram.
But that’s not all. DLF Promenade is also organising four workshops, where bakers and chefs can learn the art of making cakes and styling them. On Aug 25, Foodhall’s executive chef, Olivier Vincent will school us in the art of baking perfect desserts followed by Shivesh Bhatia, who will do cake styling from 5.30pm onwards. If you love cookies, the art of making crunchiest cookies will be perfected by Arti Jain on August 26. And on August 27, Executive Pastry Chef, Mukesh Rawat from Academy of Pastry Art will organise a Sugar Art workshop. The classes will take place between 4 and 7 pm and there’s no entry fee {yay!}.
