Hate it or love it, Heeramandi is all anyone can talk about right now. You may troll the story, the characters, or even some actors, but all the hot and cold reviews come together in agreement when it comes to SLB’s magic. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut work on an OTT series, Heeramandi was in every way his signature style, extravagant sets and over-the-top outfits. Each character looked royal and lustrous, everyone from the tawaiffs to the nawabs

Seeing the buzz around it, we figured that this over-the-top style could be big during the festive season. However, not all of us can afford to don Rimple And Harpreet's designed anarkalis, shararas, lehengas, and sarees, but we can still get the vibe on a budget.

So here we have for you some brands we discovered that have the same look and feel as the outfits from Heeramandi

Dress up like Aditi Rao’s Hydari’s Bibbojan in this beautiful gold sharara set that comes with a deep maroon net dupatta, from Roze. We’ve been obsessing over this brand ever since we discovered it because of the regal look and feel of its outfits. Gold shararas, elegant anarkalis, and even velvet suits, this brand’s festive Indian wear collection completely gives Heeramandi vibes. Remember Bibbojaan's golden anarkali and beige saree? You can find similar products here!

Even though Monk And Mei has outfits ranging from work-wear, brunch-wear, festive wear and even wedding wear, some of their outfits are certainly something the strong-headed women from Heermandi would adorn. From co-ords, kurta sets, to sarees and dresses, they have all kinds of outfits, but for us their festive Indian wear can pass for a Heeramandi-like aesthetic.

One of the key outfits of the show, is is a mustard-ish yellow sharara. The Aabroo Kurta & Sharara Pant with Dupatta-Mustard by Sheetal Batra comes extremely close to that. The brand also has heavily embellished and sequined sharara sets that come with exquisite kirandori and sitara work, something Mallikjaan (Manisha Koirala’s character) would adorn.

Dressfok is the first brand we start our search at when it comes to looking for festive saree. While not all of their products give the Heeramandi vibe, there’s a very specific Aditi Rao Hyadri look we were going after when we thought of this Golden Zari Chanderi Tissue Saree by Dressfolk.

The outfits in Heeramandi were complemented by the very heavy and eye-catching ornaments like maangtikas and naths, which legit made taking our eyes off the characters difficult. Even the nath played a central role, with the tawaiff’s ‘nath utraai’ being an important part of the plot.

When looking for jewellery brands that have the same vibe, Azai by Nykaa Fashion was the first to catch our eye, particularly their naths and maangtikas. Further, their traditional jhumkis with hair attachment, temple rings and kundan chokers will be a great addition to your festive and wedding outfits.
