Delhi has many folds to it and in it are so many hidden gems yet to be explored. Now, if you're a home decor junkie and always looking to add something new from a place that's a little hatke keep reading.

Cotton And Satins

Spread across three floors, Cotton and Satins in Meharchand Market is the place to head to if the windows in your house need some pretty curtains, or if your chairs and sofas are in need of a fabric upgrade. They also have a collection of lamps and crockery for you to check out. They might be on the pricier side but you know you're getting quality products for your home.

Best Known For: Upholstery fabrics and curtains

Serendipity

You'll find Serendipity in a restored Haveli in a corner of Chhattarpur. The founder and designer Kuldeep Kaur has turned her interest for Interior Design and Travel into a beautifully curated space with Textiles, Furniture and Vintage finds. You can find some really cool linen, soft furnishings, clothes, and furniture here! They also have an annual sale which is a must check out as the prices tend to slash considerably.

Best Known For: Furniture accents, Vintage finds

Variety Arts Emporium

Actually founded in 1980, Variety Arts is the place to be if you're in the search for exquisite bone and horn inlay work mirrors, frames, side tables, trays, boxes and more. Products are manufactured and sourced from craftsmen located in Rajasthan. If you wish, you can get customised pieces here as well - all of which are reasonably priced. In fact, they also do corporate gifting so if you're looking to order in bulk we're sure you can get a good deal. 

Best Known For: Bone inlay furniture and home decor items

Location: Sundar Nagar Market

Dilli Haat

Trust us when we say it doesn’t get better than Dilli Haat for rugs and carpets. We recommend you check out Kauser Ali's booth where you'll find a great selection of carpets but if you already have a few references in mind he'll also do a custom piece for you. Note that if you're going the custom carpet route,  it may take as long as up to 1 month but be sure that you'll receive a well-made product for 1/3rd the price of branded stores, which makes it worth the wait in our eyes.

Shankar Market

Whether you're looking to buy fabric for apparel or upholstery, Shankar market is the place to be. From cotton fabric with basic prints, silk brocades, sequins, lace, georgette, and Indian handloom, the shops have it all. To have your trip sorted here, check out this list that mentions all the shops you should visit.

Lok Nayak Bhawan

Lok Nayak Bhawan is an old building in Khan Market that has a bunch of shops selling all types of lights you may ever need. Some stores we do recommend are Lafayette lights, Chanchal lights and Decon. If you'd like to know about more stores check out this list.

Artisan Lab

Artisan Lab is a decor store part cafe where you can shop and chill. It was started by sisters Neimat (heads the cafe) and Noor (takes care of the decor bit) with the idea of creating a place where you can take a break and slow down. 

Best Known For: Vases, cushions, crockery and home decor accents 

Location: GK, N-Block

Gujarat Haveli

A gem with 2 giant warehouses of antique and antique-inspired furniture, accents and more. Find beautiful wooden carved furniture - tables, chairs, room dividers, sofa sets, showpieces, etc.  Their collection keeps changing every few months, so every time you visit you'll find something new. They've also got rattan and cane furniture well-sourced from Goa, and when available, these finds are a must buy. So, if you're a sucker for antique-looking furniture, you must check out this place.

Location: Gurugram

Dori Living

Looking to add elements that give mid-century vibe? Dori Living is the place to be. While their products are on the higher side the quality of the product justifies their price. All of their products are quite minimal and focus more on functionality. The store is half and half with Cafe Dori, so you'll be able to enjoy a good cuppa coffee while you browse through their beautiful collection.

Amar Colony Market

Amar colony is the place to be if you want to buy vintage furniture and home accents but have a small budget. You'll find shops here selling refurbished as well as new furniture. Don't expect a smooth shopping experience though, you'll find a tarpaulin-covered lane with an assortment of furniture and décor pieces piled atop each other. Make sure to test your bargaining skills here too.

At this well-curated home decor store by Rajee (a well-known designer), you'll find stunning light fixtures, gorgeous table linen, elegantly crafted serveware, ceramic statement pieces and more, there seems to be a little story, a little magic behind each thoughtfully selected piece.

La Boutique

Straight from the Little Black Book of LBB's founder, La Boutique is a store for all things vintage in Sundar Nagar. A lesser known fact however is that they have a 2 storey warehouse in Noida which one can visit by appointment. Find vintage-inspired tables, cabinets, doors and marble accents.

Sharma Farms

Another place if you're looking for antiques and vintage-inspired furniture is Sharma Farms. Spread in 8 acres of land you'll be able to find all sorts of furniture you'll ever need. From huge beds and wooden doors to swings and old clocks - you'll be able to find items for as low as INR 500 uptp 4 lakhs.
