Made famous by its decadent red velvet cake,  Elma’s  is your typical Victorian cafĂ©, using dainty porcelain crockery, and done up in florals throughout. Opt for their high tea menu and you will get assorted sandwiches, a bunch of home-made cakes and scones and of course, your choice of tea or coffee. For those looking to get a buzz, you can substitute tea with champagne or wine.

The Tea Lounge

The Tea Lounge aims to give you the full-fledged English high tea experience. Boasting a myriad of teas including Nilgiri Rajamallay, Darjeeling Margaret’s Hope, Makaibari Gold Leaf and an equally impressive collection of coffee, the classy joint screams luxury. Sip on your choice of beverage while munching on delicious savouries. The vegetable calzone and the chicken feuillette are the most sought after dishes here. The Mad Teapot

This all-vegetarian café in the midst of the chaos that is Shahpur Jat is part of The Wishing Chair {a store selling cute little trinkets for your home} and features a modest but yummy menu. Choose from a range of flavoured teas or freshly brewed coffee, couple it with a small meal or a pasta and a cupcake, and you have yourself the perfect tea-time meal.

Sancha Tea Boutique

The Sancha brand, known for its gourmet teas, is managed by master tea-taster Sanjay Kapur, and offers over 35 varieties of tea including black teas, green teas, oolong and white. The cafe even has and entire section dedicated to tea accessories: Tea timers, infusers, cups and teapots. Dwell over these charming trinkets as you devour delicious snacks and wash them down with as many teas as you can try!

The high ceiling, greenery and the fountain bang in centre make the Atrium a pretty pleasant place to unwind at. The high tea here is an elaborate affair comprising a vast selection of teas and coffees, accompanied by a platter of freshly-baked cookies, tarts, cupcakes and macarons. Blue cheese sandwiches and canapés are the hits amongst savouries.


Rose Cafe

What better place to indulge in high tea than a cafe which woos with its floral Victorian decor? Rose Cafe offers a set menu for tea comprising sandwiches, chili cheese toasts, savoury tarts and a choice of desserts from scones, tarts and cakes. To wash it all down, you can choose the traditional tea, or opt for any other beverage of your choice, be it a milkshake, coffee or even a tall glass of refreshing lemonade.

T’Pot Cafe

T’Pot, as is evident from its name specialises in a wide variety of teas. From the desi masala kullar chai, to more exotic blends such as oolong, fruit tea and even a special chocolate tea, it is paradise for all those who enjoy a good hot cuppa on a tiring evening. Accompaniments include a selection of pastas, pizzas, wraps, sandwiches and continental favourites such as chicken stroganoff.
