What Makes It Awesome

Fondly known as the home for trance music in Goa, Hilltop Goa is a big must-do on the tourist itinerary for a night of music and partying. Hippy-trippy décor makes this iconic party destination all the more appealing, and the gigs, markets and other events at Hilltop Goa are widely discussed in circles all over the country! Here’s why you need to put Hilltop Goa on your bucket list for Goa.

Located in Vagator, right between Vagator and Anjuna beaches, Hilltop Goa has been an iconic establishment in the party circuit of Goa since the 70s. Located on a small hill, it retains the 60s hippie vibe of Goa and is a haunt for all those who love a hard night of partying. The club comes alive only on Sundays though, so plan your visit accordingly. Sometimes the club is also open on Friday and Saturday - you might have to call and check, or check their calendar on Facebook. The gigs are all priced differently and are ticketed. Between October and March, every Friday, HillTop hosts a flea market called Goa Collective Bazaar which goes on till 3am and has some of the best food, live music, workshops and curated shopping in Goa.

Hilltop Goa is covered with palm trees and lit up with crazy lights. The whole neon party vibe isn’t the only reason it’s a hit with trance lovers. It’s the fact that they have some of the best musical talent and even international DJs spinning tunes here, sometimes for 24 hours straight.

Pro-Tip

The Hilltop Festival is another reason why you must plan a visit to this party spot in Goa in February. This is when some of the best national and international artists play their sets here. Christmas and New Year parties are a big deal too, with tickets selling out a month in advance and thousands thronging to here to let their hair down.
