What Is It?

The Himalayan Adventure Challenge is a multi-adventure race in Rishikesh where you’ll get to bike, paddle, and trek your way to victory. There will be three different races to partake in. It’ll thoroughly test your skills, teamwork, and endurance, so we recommend you start getting in shape.

Who Is It For?

Adrenaline junkies, pack your bags, this is your cuppa joe. If you’ve been a fan of Triathlons, marathons, or any other activity that generally makes you push yourself to the limit, you’re gonna wanna HAC it. And if you’ve got a special place in your heart for the hills, this is the moment you jump with joy.

Why Should I Go For It?

The HAC will have an unprecedented three race format. It’s all up to you which one you want to compete in.

First up, there’s the Zealot Challenge where, in teams of two, you’ll have to bike for 15 km, paddle through the waters for 13 km, and finally trek for 17km, exhibiting a total of 45 km of hardcore endurance, all in a single day. Got the chops?

Next, the Open Challenge will assess your mettle with 13 km paddling and 17 km of trekking. You’ll be competing in teams of four, so you’d better alert the squad right now—you’re gonna need to train hard.

Or you can go for the Family Challenge where adults and children lock it in as a team and fire through a five km trek plus five km of paddling. You can participate in groups of four {minimum} to six {maximum}. There’ll have to be at least two adults on the team and the childrens’ age group should be nine–15 years old.

Doesn’t matter if you’ve got steely-eyed determination, a curiosity to push your body to its absolute limits, or just want to have a thrilling adventure with the fam, HAC’s got something for everyone.

Anything Else?

All the teams will be properly briefed, trained and acquainted with the race and safety protocols. The accommodation will be two properties near the race camp and Camp Aquaterra will be the default race venue. There’ll be lunches, gala dinners, music evenings and more.

Where: Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

When: Dec 16–17

Price: Participation fee is INR 27,800 per team {for Zealot Race}, INR 43,600 per team {for Open Challenge}, and INR 7,900 per adult + INR 3,900 per child {for Family Challenge}
