What Makes It Awesome

Dishing out all-day brunch, Fig & Maple is an unqualified delight. For me, part of the pleasure of dining here is to watch the chefs work the sequence of modern equipment and harmoniously ace the assembly line - whipping, piping, vacuum sealing, poaching, until a beautiful plate of food comes together.

The lemon meringue pancakes and matcha pancakes are delicate and decadent. The Brooklyn salad is as tasty as it is wholesome. Also excellent are the eggs - both poached {in sous vide = identically jammy each time} and scrambled. We've tried the Soho, Little Italy and Lox, and enjoyed each one.

Every plate of food looks like it belongs in a television show - with perfect scoops of seasonal fruits, edible flowers and micro greens. More importantly, the portions are hearty and flavour combinations on point!

Fig & Maple sources its coffee from Blue Tokai and has a range of iced teas courtesy Anandini Himalaya Tea. This is probably also the only place in the city serving Kombucha.

What Could Be Better?

The entrance to Fig & Maple is slightly industrial, the elevator a pain to navigate, and a dimly lit staircase.

What's My Pro Tip?

Be mindful of the restaurant timings - they are usually closed between 3.30 and 7.00 pm. It also packs up quickly on weekends; reservations recommended.
