What Makes It Awesome?

National Cloth House is a convenient place to pick up fabric if you don't want to make a trek to a fabric market. This little sliver of a ship has been around over 50 years, retailing great fabric in many types and colours that start at INR 200 a metre.

You'll find a grumpy Uncle at the front, but he's a man who clearly knows fabric because he sorted me out for some kurta material I needed for a friend with his advice on what weathers badly and well. He didn't take kindly to taking pictures though, so if you want to buy fabric for someone else, take them along because sending photos will be a real task.

His solids are better than his prints and the range of those solids is great; particularly for Khan. Also, the cotton here trump the other materials, so make a beeline for those.

What Could Be Better?

Nicer prints, for certain. A better range, as well as nicer variants than the ones that are currently at the store.

How Much Did It Cost?

INR 500 - INR 1,000
