I remember the first outlet of Honey & Dough, I remember walking in and loving the colour and décor, the laidback vibe and the amazing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and ever since then I have been a regular. We don’t just get their cakes for special occasions but we also include their products in all our gift packages, I love making care packages for my family and friends and Honey & Dough’s cookies, tea cakes, candied nuts and savouries make for excellent additions, considering all baked goodies are a special form of caring. In just three years this bakery and café brand has gone from one outlet to seven and the latest one is at Pacific Mall, seems like that’s becoming the most happening place in town. I loved the pretty décor, the trendy ambience and that sense of relaxation that the fragrance of freshly baked bread makes you feel. The new outlet is now a one-stop-shop for a range of quality bakery and confectionery products in West Delhi and I wouldn’t stop short from saying, it’s the most adorable bakery café in that area. The café serves up wholesome pasta with crusty bread, patties and indulgently filled baguette sandwiches, that’s why we keep going back, we order something different every time
We actually dropped in for breakfast and the spread showcases a variety of freshly flipped omelettes, an All-American breakfast platter complete with an Omelette, hash-browns, roasted tomato, Multigrain bread and sauteed veggies. That’s not all, breakfast isn’t complete without, Pancakes, French fries, mashed potatoes and sausages which can be paired with a classic French Toast or Baked vegetables and Garlic Bread, we didn’t have all of it though I wish we had! For a lighter brekkie, they also serve Poha, Muesli and a selection of Bruschetta made with their in-house freshly baked bread, which I usually pair with tea but if I’m having coffee then it has to be their Croissants, Muffins, Tea Cakes or sandwiches. What I find marvellous is how they manage to dole out all this stuff from a small pantry and it’s still piping hot and super fresh.
No visit to Honey & Dough is complete with a mad round of shopping for a home, from gourmet cookies to pralines, coated nuts and Italian biscotti, it’s all there, beautifully packaged and freshly baked. I’ve also ordered in advance for personalised bags of goodies or take-away packages of delicious cookies, salted and coated nuts, chocolate almonds, oatmeal cookies, macarons and more. Though what we always pick up is their stellar Sweet Cheese Croissant which tastes like a cheesecake filled croissant and that’s a blend of my two favourite things all in one. So happy to see their 7th outlet open up and serve a whole new region of the city, if you’re a West Delhi resident, it’s time to rejoice
