Le Belvedere, a fine-dining restaurant at Le Meridien hotel, has a killer bird’s eye view of the city with a side order of brilliant Cantonese and Sichuan food to go with it. 

Located in Windsor Place, this place is a great vantage point for a sweeping view of Lutyen’s Delhi. You can clearly spot the top landmarks like India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan and the National Museum. It’s especially dreamy at night, when everything is lit up. For obvious reasons, we’d recommend heading here for a fancy dinner. There is also live music playing that adds to the charm.

They have a delightful (and elaborate) oriental menu and a full bar. We hear the dim sums, seafood, crispy chicken tossed with fresh red chilly and celery, mix vegetable dumplings and the dates rolls with ice cream are popular choices, which you can enjoy along with a beer or wine. The prices are on the heavier side, but a special night with your SO deserves a little extra spending, doesn’t it?
