One of my fondest memories of traveling with my parents is visiting the Taj Mahal, the picturesque white mausoleum located in the heart of Agra. Taj Mahal is that one monument that leaves you awe-struck no matter how many times you revisit it; the masterful craftsmanship, the Mughal times' essence, and the beautiful love story it stands as a testament to, everything seems to capture your heart and soul. Since Agra is only a four-hour drive from Delhi (where I stay), I have had the chance to visit Agra several times and can vouch that it's a must-visit for people who enjoy the old-world charm. If you are looking to explore the wonder of culture that Agra is, do check out our list of hotels to stay at when visiting the city of Taj.
