House Of Tigers is every dal makhani and Patiala peg loving Delhiwaalah’s heaven. It evokes the extravagance of the princely states by recreating it through its food and decor. Part haveli-looking and part cafe-looking, this is where we’re headed for a heavy duty dose of comfort food {and drinks}.

You Know The Grill

Spread over two floors, one floor is more conducive to fine dine while the rooftop is for long drawn party scenes. The khaana is nothing that you won’t expect but that’s a good thing. They aren’t trying something outrageous with the menu but who doesn’t like well-made Laal Maas or perfectly gooey dahi kebabs? In fact, if you’re not feeling like tikkas {how can you not? They’re charred to perfection!}, they’ve got tacos as well and a certain dish called Paneer Naanza. Gotta try a lot of things here.

It’s fascinating that they’ve also got a whole section on the menu for NRI dishes {basically a Punju twist on Amreekan things like sliders}.

Need more reasons to visit? Well, their decor is a crowd puller as well. In tune with the whole royal theme, you’ll see a lot of sepia-toned photographs, shot guns, tiger heads and hand pumps. It’s literally a feast for your eyes and your stomach. Seriously.

So, We're Saying...

We’re making a trip especially for the Desi Bento Boxes so we can feel like a six-year-old with a tiffin full of paneer, chicken and naan. Oh and the Tequila Kalmi Kebab will taste heavenly when we also feel all that wind in our hair on that gorgeous rooftop.
