Cafe Lota for me remains one of the best breakfast spots in Delhi. Be it the airy and fresh infrastructure, or the distinct amalgamation of different Indian cuisines, this places meets your expectations every single time.
Having the same management as Triveni Terrace Cafe, Cafe Lota has managed to retain similar vibe; one where the customer is left to their thoughts while appreciating the simple yet a lovingly cooked meal. The symbiotic relationship of such a place is only appropriate-inside national Crafts Museum.
My personal favourites on their breakfast menu are the Railway Masala Omelette Sandwich, Mini Rava Idlis and the Single Estate Artisinal Coffee {Sattva or Sunkissed}. Even though I don't have a taste for black coffee, I do not mind missing out on the lactose at this place. The Ragi Banana Pancakes here is also an ideal hack if you're on a diet.
Above everything, the vibe of Lota Cafe is a reason enough to visit it, the culinary experience falls in place thereby itself.
Places like this are the reason for the progress of the Indian Food Movement and will continue to make a dent culinarily, as long as they keep experimenting.
