I was actually pretty kicked about trying this Limited Ed collection, and getting first dibs on it was quite exciting. I'm always a sucker for a good Limited Ed collection, because it's always fun to look back on it a while later and enjoy the nostalgia value and know it's not routine make-up or apparel. M•A•C rarely disappoints in this regard. Everytime they come out with a limited collection, I know I'll look back on it and still enjoy using it well afterwards.
While the lip gloss was just a touch glittery for my own personal vibe, I loved the other products (gloss junkies, you could also chalk this up to my general aversion to gloss). The collection is thoughtfully curated, with the blush, lipstick and eyeshadow perfectly reminiscent of a magic carpet riddled land from the days of yore. You can see each hue and texture tying into the gorgeous aesthetic and vibe of the beautiful Jasmine. I had a particular soft-spot for Rajah (an oxblood-matte lipstick with a gorgeous finish) and Your Wish is My Command (a delicious, bronze blush that gives a slightly darker skin tone a near-surreal glow).
Overall, from the delicate, gold-and-pop-hued packaging to the ethereal shades, the M•A•C X Aladdin Project Jaz Collection lived up to the hype. If you're big on collector's editions, I'd honestly recommend getting yourself something from this collection; either as a present or a keepsake
