Ever been to a mehfil? (We're guessing not, since it's an age-old tradition that doesn't happen much anymore) .
But we say, head to 1AQ this Saturday- there's going to be a promising eve full of Sufi music, Urdu recitals and like-minded people appreciating art together. Come dressed in your ethnic best - that's the dress code.
The showstopper of the event will be Sufi singer Smita Bellur (we hear she is India’s first female vocalist to have been accepted into a lineage of Quawaals, impressive right?). There are also going to be shopping installations by homegrown brands and some great choice of F&B, we're talking brands like Paul John, Greater Than, Proost, Punjab Grill and more.
