Ever since Delhi had gotten its first-ever IMAX, the movie-buff in us itched to head there and watch a movie (no matter which one) and if you are, just like us (an IMAX lover), you know what are we talking about. So, this weekend, ditch all your plans and head to Saket (Select Citywalk), Noida (Logix City Centre), or Gurgaon (Ambience Mall) to watch the latest release.
The standard IMAX screen is 16 metres high by 22 metres wide (which is of course, huge), it has a patented IMAX surround-sound system that’ll reverberate through, right in your seat (not that helpful with horror movies), and 3D quality that’ll teleport you straight inside the movie you’re watching. Dubbed as the world’s most immersive movie experience, this mix of technology and luxury definitely deserves a movie day.
All the malls have ample parking space and basic amenities like clean washrooms, free drinking water, and air-conditioning. The cinemas have varied show timings so you can choose to watch a movie at 11 AM or 11 PM. The price for recliners starts at INR 900, while classic ones start at INR 300 and you can book a ticket online through Insider, Book My Show or one of these cinemas' websites. Also, since they're all located inside malls, you can always catch a bite at any of the eateries like Subway, Keventers, and Dominos in the mall food courts.
