While on a shopping spree, I was craving for a not-so-sweet but delish dessert serving and fortunately, I spotted this elegant and lifestyle cafe by Godiva. This classy place in the Ion Orchard mall is a saviour post-rigorous shopping and otherwise.
As I entered the concept cafe, I swooned at the glance of desserts they had on display and on the menu. From their waffles and ice creams to all the hot and cold beverages, I wanted to try every single thing. Picking one thing was difficult for me but I decided to try their classic Belgian Chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone. The presentation of their desserts is gorgeous and you might just not want to spoil it for a second. Make sure you take the picture of your desserts as they are absolutely Insta-worthy and will be gone in seconds, literally.
The ice cream was perfectly creamy and tasted heavenly. It had a bittersweet flavour to it, just as I wanted. Since it is the first lifestyle cafe by Godiva in Singapore, it is very well done. The cafe has a capacity to accommodate 40 people at a time. The chairs and tables are set in the subtle tone of brown and beige with a contrasting yet complementing shade of maroon for the couches.
