Innisfree, the brand that finds its roots in the Jeju Island of South Korea, has recently launched a hair care range with the camellia flower as its core ingredient. This flower is a moisturising ingredient that aims to replenish amino acids in dry, damaged hair, thus leaving the hair soft and easier to manage.

The hair care range includes the Camellia Essential Shampoo, Camellia Essential Hair Oil Serum, and Camellia Shine Hair Mist. At the moment, they’ve only introduced the silicone-free shampoo into the market, which is especially targeted for hair that’s gone through damage due to colouring, dyeing, perming, and excessive blow drying and brushing.

While we haven’t used the product long enough to know if any of those claims stand true, the shampoo did manage to detangle our super entangled hair quite easily, leaving it soft and smooth.

As for the rest of the range? We’ll have to wait at least a couple of more months to try and find out how they fare.

Price: INR 800 for the shampoo, INR 900 for the hair oil serum, and INR 700 for the hair mist
