Shahpur Jat is known for its quaint and pretty cafes. These cafes tend to be pretty Instagrammable. However, not all of them have good food. This week we went to Ivy and bean. It looks gorgeous and the food tastes awesome.
We tried their bacon fries which as you can see there was loaded with bacon and cheese and the fries were crisp and tasted fresh. Then came the Lamb & Rosemary burger which was nice and meaty and specially the egg really made it unique which was well-cooked and non-greasy. We also ordered their Rosemary & Garlic Lamb Chops. The dish was well-cooked.
We also got ourselves their pancakes with ice cream. The pancakes were good. Along with the ice cream, a bit much, but then again, I don't have that sweet a tooth, so to each their own. The location is easily reachable and they have comfortable seating. They also have a place to sit outside and staff is courteous and responsive. All in all a nice weekend spot to Instagram and try food which tastes good as well.
