Artreach Festival
A 3-day fest full of art, films, music, workshops and more, you should hit Artreach Festival for your monthly intake of culture and arts. It’s a free and open-for-all event where you’ll get to attend Manga Masterclasses, Origami workshops, Afghani music gigs, and even a kite-making workshop. There’ll be Somali, Afghani, & Kashmiri food, and of course, plenty of Christmas bakes. There’s also film screenings, expressive arts, and art shop at this event.

Finnish Film Festival
Because, really, what on earth is better than watching a bunch of fabulous movies for free? You’ll especially love this if you’re not into mainstream cinema. There’ll be 20, short Finnish films of various genres (comedy, drama, culture, social issues and more). The festival is being hosted to celebrate Finland’s 100 years of independence.

The Khirkee Festival
Organised by Khoj International Artists’ Association, Khirkee Festival is a four-day celebration of arts. The Khirkee neighbourhood is one of the most diverse places in the city, and they’re celebrating this cultural multiplicity with music, bazaars, theatre, sports, food and so much more. This is one of the most unique events of the year, and the fact that it’s open and free for all is just another point in this diverse fest.

Playground House for Comedy
A comedy event that’s hosted every Saturday evening, this open mic event is calling all comics to take the stage and kill with jokes. Both upcoming and established comedians take part, so even if you’re not going to deliver funnies, you might as well go and make your weekends a little more humorous. Although free, it’s an open hat event, so you can contribute whatever you want if you have a good time.
