Some artists start out late, and some start early. Indian artist Isha Patwa started painting when she was three. As someone who was fascinated with splashing colours on canvas to painting and hosting various art workshops across the country — she has come a long way. Her art venture, along with her father, Kirat Patwa (who is also an artist) takes up commission-based work.
The father-daughter duo experiments with various forms and techniques that include fluid painting, oil painting, knives, and fingers. Their abstract paintings can hold your attention, no matter how crowded a room is. Bold, illustrated, and full of energy — their paintings are priced at INR 4,500 upwards (and can up to INR 25,000). Isha also has a profound interest in dance and social entrepreneurship while Kirat is a businessman who makes art out of passion. His specialty includes geometrical oil canvas paintings, and his style is largely defined by crystal clear vibrant hues and bold strokes. The duo also handles orders for customisations and they ship worldwide too.
Isha also hosts myriad workshops across the country, and due to the pandemic, she's taken to online classes, and we recommend following her online to attend one of her workshops. So, the next time you want to immerse yourself in art, you know where to go.
