Jagdish Store is a massive store, spread across three buildings and several floors, packed with furnishings and decor of all kinds. They've got everything from rugs and curtains, to cushion covers and fabrics.

What Makes It Awesome

Jagdish Store started as a small 10 x 15 feet shop in Karol Bagh decades ago, and 50 years later, it has evolved into three buildings, standing proud on the Lajpat Nagar main road.

We suggest starting the tour with the right-most building, which is basically, carpet central. From Persian carpet look-alikes and abstract patterns, to the more recent ombre trend, they’ve got every kind of home (and floor) covered. The same goes for their curtains, which you can choose straight off their collection or zero in on a fabric (they have a whole basement full of these).

One of the things we absolutely loved at the store was a pillow for two, just stretching from one end of the bed to the other (gift for a newly-married couple, maybe?). Pair these with their many varieties of bed sheets, bed covers and colourful curtains, and you have yourself a whole new bedroom look.

Jagdish Store also has a separate bridal collection, where they do up an entire room for you (matching bed sheets, bed covers, cushions, curtains and more). Expect lots of silks, satins and velvets here.

What Could Be Better

Over the years, the quality of their service has gone down. Deliveries take ages some times and if you go here on a weekend, you will have trouble getting one of the store staff to help you out with options.

Jagdish Store is a great place to shop at if you're looking for quality and variety, but their customer service might disappoint.

Pro Tip

The best part about the store is that everything is customisable. Just have a chat with their team and they’re more than happy to even design something completely new for you. They also provide upholstery and stitching services. You may want to stop by especially if you’re doing up a new home.

PS: They also house crockery, kitchen essentials and bathware.

Price: Starting at INR 700 for a set of mugs.
