With soulful evenings of blissful music, The World Sufi Music Festival, founded by filmmaker-painter Muzzafar Ali, is back with its 13th edition.

Who Is It For?

People who enjoy Sufi music and the rare lyrics of Sufi mystics in an innovative form should definitely be there! Each year there are Sufi music maestros who come to Delhi from different parts of the world to perform at the beautiful Humayun’s Tomb in Central Delhi.

People who love world music or just music in general should not miss this one.

Why Should I Go For It?

Tired of listening to what Delhi always hears? You can put all that EDM and Honey Singh to rest and have a fabulous weekend with some mystical music instead. Apart from that, Abida Parveen is a regular at this festival. Why wouldn’t you want to zone out on her melodious ‘Aaj jaane ki zid na karo’.

Even if she’s not there this year, you can always listen to Daler Mehndi, Satinder Sartaj, Sonam Kalra and Sukhwinder Singh amongst many others.

Anything Else?

All said and done, even if you’re not a big Sufi music fan you should come hear some melodic tunes just to be at peace, because that’s what it does to you!

Tickets for this event will be out soon.

Where: Arab Ki Sarai, Humayun Tomb

When: Mar 24 – 26

Timings: 4.30pm – 7.30pm

An animal person who gorges on food, she loves the little attention the universe gives her. 60's flower child, nothing in life works for her without music. When you don't find her chilling with her streeties, her pug or her cat, she's probably wandering about the city or sitting with a book and/or a movie at home, trying her best to be evasive.
