Yaba Dhaba Doo
Admittedly, locating this quaint little shack was a slight task, but having finally done so, we were not disappointed. What followed were warm welcomes and good conversation with the owner who served us some of the yummiest Punjabi Dhaba food we’ve eaten in a long time.
Their menu consists of the same old kind of dishes you’d expect—there’s no surprise or variation there—but we definitely loved the dal makhni, malai paneer along with some good old butter naan and lachha parantha.
Our grand total for all of the above was less than INR 250. If masaledaar junk food gets too much for you, we recommend finishing your meal off with their Boondi Ka Raita.
Makki Ki Roti & Sarson Da Saag FTW
Had the owner not followed the Makki Ki Roti with the saag, we’d have been perfectly content and still raving, eating just that. Absolutely delicious, and no we’re not crazy to be calling the roti the highlight of our meal. The saag, perfectly balanced with the right amount of spices—we left wanting more.
Despite the fact that we’re not from Rohini, and TBH quite far away from it, we’d be more than happy to go back.
