Jamun is a North Indian casual diner. It is situated in the heart of lodhi colony and is a family place with subtle jamun & white colour decor. It has only one sitting which is indoors and old bollywood music makes it even more enjoyable.
Coming to the food, I went there with friends and we started with the appetisers-
Paneer Tikka which was so spicy I really loved it.
Dahi ke kebab is a must-try dish. I am not really a fan of this dish but when I tasted it I came to know the essence of that dish. It melts like butter and one could taste all the flavours in it.
Ratalu ki tikki was average in taste it had ingredients like sweet potatoes and some pulses ( if you're a fan of sweet potato then must try it), and the last appetiser was a giant spicy mushroom, it was finger-licking good. Last but not least the mint chutney served with almost each and every dish compliments each dish in the best way possible, tempting my taste buds.
Appetisers were so filling that we had to directly jump on to desserts so we ordered mango rabri and it was so soothing to my mouth. It is served cold.
