Ten-Second Takeaway
The Saturday Safari at Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary lets you drive through a jungle, stop by jackal hideouts and finally end by a serene lake. You can make this trip with your adventurous streak tomorrow or the next Saturday.
Call Of The Jungle
The journey to the lake is a scenic drive that’s often punctuated by nilgais, jackals and other mammals crossing paths as you trudge along. If you’re a patient nature-lover, there’ll be a lot of birds and trees to spot and/or familiarise yourself with as well.
These Saturday Safaris happen every weekend and start at 7:30am. So if you’re a morning person looking to spot jackals {instead of spotting waffles, perhaps}, this might be your jam. The informal anecdotes and insights from accompanying experts is also likely to make this visit both fun and informative. Not a dull moment in sight here, we think.
So, We’re Saying…
Wear comfy shoes and carry binoculars for a closer look. If you like sketching, Asola Bhatti’s a good place to sneak some time by the lake and paint the aquatic creatures, rare thorny shrubs and butterflies you encounter.
We're kicked because it won't require outstation trip-kinda planning and there's always so many places to have a late breakfast at.
