Winning For

Very few new spots in Delhi can match the uber cool set-up of this place. The drinks are sure winners, but it is the menu {curated by chef Saby} that steals the show.

Colour Goes Pop

The place has been done up by designer Nida Mahmood, and that reflects in every inch of the restaurant. The pop colours and patterns have a feel-good vibe to them, and they play an important part in attracting you. The music too {old Bollywood hits with a twist} amps up the Bollywood-ish experience.

Spread over a large area, the restauarant also offers terrace seating, perfect for pleasant evenings.

Fuse ‘Em Up

Taking the Bollywood and Mumbai combo further is the menu, which brings together the various flavours of local Mumbaiya cuisine and fuses it to deliver an interesting mix of fusion dishes. We started with the Theeki Shikanji Chuski, and there is no denying that it instantly became one of our top recommendations, all thanks to the brilliant sweet and spicy mix of flavours.

Next up, we tried a variety of small plates — Squid Butter Garlic, Prawn Aglio Olio, MH. Ali Chicken Boti Kebab and Chicken Sanju Baba {phew!}, but what impressed us the most was Bhaijaan Seekh Parantha, which was extremely well cooked, tender and juicy {the crispy parantha made it even better}.

We decided to chow down on the Pasta Chicken Salsa and Bangers & Mash from the large plates section, and both dishes turned out to be delightfully delicious too. {We do give them extra points for their version of Bangers & Mash}.

Drink Up

The drinks menu has a lot to offer! Apart from the classic cocktails and other alcohol offerings, the section we loved the most was the Signature Cocktails. We tried the Paan Mojito {a refreshing twist to the usual mojito} and we recommend you try it out too. {The sad part was the unavailability of bourbon, tequila and absinthe; which just didn’t allow us to taste other interesting concoctions the menu had to offer}.

Our recommendation from the desserts section is definitely the Phirni Crème Brulee, which won us over with its distinct sweetness of the traditional Phirni, and its fusion with the original Crème Brulee.

So, We’re Thinking…

This one is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something ‘new’ when it comes to your usual evening hang out. The staff is prompt and the food wins big in the flavour department {presentation too!}.
