Visit The Tibetan Market In Janpath For Junk Jewellery & Antiques

If you're looking for some antique junk jewellery to give your wardrobe a makeover, or just because you're a hoarder like me, then the Tibetan market is your heaven. Stroll down the road and check out the main shops for some good pieces - most of which are available at a reasonable price. You can get everything here - from vintage door knobs to earrings and wall hangings and little knick knacks for home decor.

Take a turn and get inside the lane right next to the metro station. This is where the real stuff is. It's actually a lane of people sitting and selling wares on the footpath and they are extremely open to bargaining.

If you're looking for quality stuff which has no blemishes and looks pristine, this place isn't for you. Try the handicraft emporiums across the road. When I say antique, it means it has a lot of dents and irregularities but for me, that holds some charm in itself.
