The first and most important step in pretty much all hair care routines is oiling. You can call the Bringadi Thailam Intensive Hair Oil the star of the show since it's responsible for most of the magic the range does. I have been using Kama Ayurveda Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment Oil for a month now. During my weekend champi sesh, I massage the oil into my hair for a good five to seven minutes, and keep it on for twenty minutes or so. Since I have an oily scalp, keeping it in my hair for longer durations isn't a thought. The texture of the oil is super light and doesn't weigh down your hair, something which I really like.
Since it has bhringraj and indigo extracts, it is supposed to help your scalp fight against hair fall, dandruff and premature greying. While I don't deal with the last one, I can vouch that it did help my mane with the first two—I can see a considerable improvement in my hair fall, which started reducing after two weeks or so, additionally my scalp has become less flaky than usual with little to no dandruff fall off on my shoulders.
It has a strong herby scent to it which only makes sense since it's an organic oil concoction. What I love the most about this oil is that it doesn't require crazy scrubbing, and washes off quite easily in a single wash. I have also noticed that since I have started applying this oil, my scalp has become less oily and requires lesser number of washes in a week (from three to two washes). Also, since it has natural conditioning properties, my hair doesn't feel rough or scruffy post washes and stay fresh longer. It also provides a slight cooling effect on the scalp that feels delightful on a hot summer evening.
