Old schools eateries tend to stand out because of two reasons: kickass family recipes and usage of quality ingredients. Bille Di Hatti does not compromise on the latter. It's a presence in North Campus since 1952 has given it a legendary status among places that serve the capital's best Chhole Bhature. And that's not an easy category to compete in.
In their Patel Nagar outlet, BKH serves Chhole Bhature, Kachodi (with Aloo Subzi), lassi (sweet/salty), halwa and a range of other Indian dishes. The quality is on the point and one does not get a greasy feeling while eating their food. Even with the halwa (which is ideal for langars), sugar content is balanced. The Bhaturas make an impression while the Chhole fall short of the benchmark set by Sita Ram Diwan Chand. But all in all, Bille Di Hatti makes a good breakfast spot for the weekend and considering how it's faring in the area, it's here to stay.
