What Makes It Awesome?

Aerocity, New Delhi is the upcoming hub for gastronomic food and drinks. There is a range of exceptional restaurants and bars dotting the large expanse of the Worldmark Buildings.

A Japanese restaurant, Kampai is the perfect place to go to if you are looking for authentic, exotic Japanese food. We had the most delicious prawn tempura, crisp and crunchy chicken karaage, juicy and perfectly cooked Belgian pork belly, mushroom gyozas (dumplings), assorted sushi, and sashimi platter, tantanmen ramen, chicken katsu curry, tepanyaki egg fried rice, and aubergine in a chef's special sauce at this beautiful restaurant. All this, while drinking copious amount of tiramisu tea (YUM!). The mocktails were a concoction of unusual and yummy combinations. The grand finale was the desserts - Yuzu Cheesecake and Matcha Tiramisu. With subtle flavours and a smooth texture, the tiramisu melts in your mouth.

It was a meal fit for the kings (and queens). The experience was truly spectacular, and the prices were not over-the-top-expensive. A meal for two won't cost more than INR 2,000. The bar will be operational by December 24, 2018, right in time for the joyous occasion of Christmas. Oh, and they have a great thing going on the said date with delectable food, specially created cocktails, and music. So book your tables well in time.

The interiors are top notch, especially the very lifelike paintings of Japanese women and the lovely cherry blossoms cascading down from the ceiling. They even have the typical Japanese seating, replete with the rice paper lamps and watercolour scrolls on the wall.

So if you are looking for a complete Japanese experience, then head to this restaurant, and you won't be disappointed.

What Could Be Better?

They don't have a liquor licence at the moment, but very soon they will be serving alcohol too.

How Much Did It Cost?
