Made only on order {at least a day in advance}, the Murgh Musallam at Karim's Hotel is absolutely worth being recommended on LBB.
A whole chicken, beautifully marinated and stuffed with flavoured rice, almonds, and an egg, then slow roasted in a bed of the most decadent curry - this dish is sublime. Nothing on the menu at Karim's Hotel compares to the lavishness and lazy luxury of the royal roast - Musallam.
Sufficient for four, this is a complete meal by itself. The bird is served in its full glory and assistance is available to carve and portion. Either way, there is no struggle - the meat is super tender and eager to fall off the bone.
