Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra is organising a five-day dance fest which promises mesmerising performances, drama and beautiful story-telling. Lovers of classical Indian dance forms, you should definitely attend this event.
Day 1-3 will have magnificently-choreographed productions called Shree Durga, Abhimanyu and Meera (produced and directed by Mrs. Shobha Deepak Singh). Each act will discuss a contemporary issue vis-a-vis the characters' story. The first two are based on Mayurbhanj Chhau, while the production Meera, is a display of Rajasthani folk dance.
The last day will witness a special choreography by Malaysia's Datuk Ramli Ibrahim and Guru Bichitrananda Swain where a contemporary twist will be given to traditional Odissi form.
