Let’s face it, no mithai or dessert will ever live up to the classic Kheer. Full of lots of nuts and dry fruits, it’s rich, it’s creamy, it’s pretty much the perfect sweet note to add to your Iftar after Ramadan fasting. So you don’t have to miss out on your (and our) favourite dessert, we’ve rounded up a list of iconic places still delivering Kheer to our homes while ensuring they follow WHO guidelines in food prep and delivery as we stay safe from Coronavirus.
The Perfect Dessert: Here’s Where You Can Get Kheer Home Delivered For Iftar
Nizam's Kathi Kabab
The iconic Nizam's that we've been going to for years for their exquisitely juicy and yummy kabab stuffed kathi rolls also serves some really delish Kheer. The Shafique Kheer is full of nuts and we totally understand why this is a place you can go to again and again (and again) because the food never disappoints.

Delhi 6 - Royal Cuisine Of The Walled City
Looking for a place serving bigger portions because individual ones just won’t do? Delhi 6 lets you order 1kg of Kheer that’s good enough for 8-10 people or less if you’re going in for doubles like we often do. Their Kheer is creamy and full of nuts but not too sweet so we loved it.
Price: INR 750
Popularly known for its amazing chole bhature, another thing you can’t miss ordering is their Special Kesar Kheer. It isn’t overly sweet and the portion is definitely worth the price. We recommend you get a few so you don’t feel like you’re left wanting more.

If you’ve had too much Kheer and are looking for a revamped option, well, Caterspoint has 6 for you! Other than their classic Badami Kesariya Kheer, they’ve also got a Creamy Hazelnut Kheer, Berrilicious Kheer, and more. We loved Foxnut Amaranth Rose Kheer which was unlike any other we’ve tried.

eat.fit pretty much delivers everywhere which is why we couldn’t have missed out on adding it to our list. Well, that, and the fact that we love their healthy Pista Kheer! Sweetened with jaggery, full of pistachios and coconut, it tastes tropical and summery and we’ll take 5 please.
Price: INR 75
We have a soft spot for takeaway and delivery-only places because we know their food is going to taste amazing. Changezi Chicken is best known for their chicken (duh!) but when you need something sweet and cool to end your meal with, every diner’s pick is the Kheer! It’s served in a kulhad, just the way it should be, is topped with nuts and you can’t just stop at one.
