An urban farm located in Chattarpur, Krishi Cress delivers fresh farm vegetables, microgreens, salad mixes, and our favourite, kombucha, across Delhi-NCR. Think potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, amla, okra, fresh turmeric, cherry tomatoes, eggplants, kale, oyster mushrooms and edible flowers, all growing sustainably using traditional agricultural techniques and delivered fresh for maximum nutrient intake and fabulous dishes at home.
The farm was started by Achintya Anand, a Le Cordon Bleu graduate, in September 2014 and they have since then provided countless smiles to the people of Delhi and are open for order even during this Covid-19 pandemic. Apart from the fresh vegetables, Krishi Cress makes and sells their own kombucha, called Khukrain's Kombucha. Triple fermented using Ayurvedic principles, the kombucha is infused with herb, flower, vegetable, and fruit extracts from their own farm and is excellent for elevating your gut health. A small 200ml bottle would cost you INR 280 and has variants like Breathe (borage, Japanese mint, and lemongrass), Immunity (mint, turmeric, and Indian hibiscus), Glow (basil, guava, and Arjun shak), and more for you to choose from.
Krishi Cress is also doing fresh fruits like pomegranate, orange, and watermelon right now. If you're a cheese fan, then do try the parmesan, gouda, garlic montasio, and chilli bomb that they source from Darima farms in Mukteshwar.
