What Makes It Awesome

Lantern’s, since its revamp, has really taken off and made a name for itself for its food. Authentic and classic dishes—like the Zafran Chapta Kebab, Butter Chicken, and Nihari Meat—have earned them awards for the best North Indian cuisine and for the best Butter Chicken. All of this to say, they really know how to induce food comas.

When it comes to the drinks, you can try some out of the box cocktails from their Daru Wali Banta section, which, just as the name suggests, is a fusion of good ol’ Banta with your favourite liquor. We tried the Fried Junkyard Dog and the Rasily (Banta infused with red wine) and we can’t recommend it to you enough.

You can tune in for some acoustic singing on Wednesdays and Thursdays while live bands take the stage on the weekends. They've also got a small rooftop seating area, which is great for getting a couple of beers on a breezy evening.

What Could Be Better

The location isn't a great one—there's usually quite a rush in the area, which is mostly people trying to grab their liquor from the wine and beer shops nearby.

Pro Tip

There's parking towards the front side (the metro parking) and towards the back, so taking your car won't be an issue.
