    Whether you’re looking for the ultimate moisture stick or just a light sheen to highlight that pout, we’re giving you our {not-so-secret} list of lip balms to choose from.

    Maybelline Baby Lips: Cinnamon

    Baby Lips is one of the most popular choices, currently. We like it for its perfect amount of moisture, subtle colour and range of flavours. If we were to pick one off the lot, we’d go with the nude-brown Cinnamon.

    If you like to keep things fruity, Nivea’s Guava chapstick should be on your must-try list. It is on the glossy side and gives off a slight pink tinge, giving you an instant dash of shine.

    Blossom Kochhar: Choco Lush

    We’re a little bit addicted to how this one smells {and tastes}. If chocolate is your flavour, you have found your new partner. And yes, it does its lip balm moisturising job pretty well too.

    Best suited for winter months {or those with permanently chapped/damaged lips}, Body Shop’s Cocoa Butter stick is an utterly butter-ly affair which is in equal parts yummy and nourishing. This one’s colourless.

    Forest Essentials: Sweet Narangi

    This tastes delicious and may lead to you constantly polishing it off your lips, resulting in multiple applications through the day. But if you think you can practice a certain amount of restraint, procure this sweet-sour concoction for your lips right away.

    Himalaya: Wheatgerm Oil

    For an all-natural solution to chapped lips, Himalaya’s Wheatgerm Oil and Carrot lip balm. It’s super light and colourless but still gives off a slight sheen.

    This comes in five shades {we’re partial to the Fuchsia} and simultaneously softens and colours the lips. It has the appearance of a gloss but without all the stickiness. Win.

    Infused with cocoa butter, organic almond and castor oil, Kama Ayurveda’s vanilla lip balm is perfect for the minimalist. It’s colourless, does its job and the fragrance just sort of lingers.

    Burt’s Bees: Peppermint

    Available at Sephora, Burt’s Bees is the kind of lip balm that will keep you keep coming back for more. It comes in a bunch of flavours and colours, ranging from Pomegranate to Grape. However, our favourite remains the Peppermint for its cooling, tingling feeling. This should be in your purse throughout summer.

    PS: Our eternal favourite lip balm remains Vaseline Lip Therapy with Rose and Almond which isn’t available in India yet, so if you find yourselves overseas, it’s worth a buy.
