Jason Statham is a badass, and every character he portrays takes it a notch higher. He made the Expendables great, and the Transporter franchise was the best when he was in the lead role, so when he comes back with Mechanic: Resurrection, you kinda know you can expect some incredible stunts and superb fight sequences.

While the trailer looks promising, here are a few things you should know before you book your tickets.

Seen This Before?

Arthur Bishop {Jason Statham} is the most dangerous hitman in the world {or was, since he's put his past behind him}. But when his most formidable foe kidnaps the love of his life {or as Deadpool would say it 'Baby Momma'} he is forced to travel the world to complete three impossible assassinations, and make them all look like accidents. While this sounds interesting, it was pretty much the plot for the 2011 movie Killer Elite {which btw starred Statham, too}.

The Fast 7 Connect

It's not the first time John Cenatiempo is sharing screen space with Stratham in Mechanic: Resurrection. Many of you might not know this, but they were recently seen together in Fast 7 {Fast & Furious franchise}. Cenatiempo has also been seen as Korpi in 2 Fast 2 Furious {the guy who loses his 1969 Yenko Camaro to Brian O'Conner}.

Michelle 'Action' Yeoh

Starring in her second action movie this year after Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, Michelle Yeoh will be seen kicking some ass in this one, too. We've seen her do some superb action sequences in the past; we're expecting so much more from this one.

Adrenaline Rush

The trailers show Jason Statham doing some insane stunts {which is kind of his thing}, though he already upped the game with all the madness in Fast 7, so the only way we'd be truly impressed is when he out-does them in this one. Also, we also expect more dialogue like "I now pronounce you man and knife."  *So badass*

A Little Romance

It's pretty hard to convince someone who loves romantic movies to watch this with you, though Resurrection features plenty of that, too {along with Jessica Alba}. So it's kind of a win-win for all of us.

So, go ahead, book your tickets for this one now.
