The Lodhi may not give you hilly backgrounds or sandy beaches but it gives you floor to ceiling French windows with beautiful green views in every room. Pretty damn good for a staycation we'd say.
The property is relatively vintage with spacious rooms (starting at 550 square feet) full of natural light, deluxe bathrooms, and a balcony or terrace to chill in. We suggest you make some wine plans here. Room service is now on Segways, so don’t worry about where in the seven acres the kitchen is; your order will come hot and quick. And there's complimentary Wi-Fi, too.
If you’re a gym buff then your pamper-cation need not pad on the pounds; they have a techno gym, yoga, and pilates studios with qualified personal trainers to assist with exercise and body fitness regimes. Three all-weather tennis courts and two air-conditioned squash courts add to make your stay super fit.
After breakfast in bed, head to OTW (On the Waterfront) for lunch. We loved the dim sum-sushi combo, though they have food fests on quite often too. Grab something for tea from the Lodhi Bakery and keep your dinner plans for Elan, which is their Indian restaurant & bar with an alfresco courtyard ideal for the city’s winter.
