We are back with another artistic workshop with Ptah! This time you get to learn the art of tapestry weaving. Basic weaving and patterns using yarn, paper, twigs, straws and more. You can use this art to create anything from coasters, to wall hangings to beautiful jewellery! You will learn to warp the loom, preparing the weft, how to build a triangle, straight weave, two weaving patterns, one weaving knot, and fringe. We will also learn to take the weaving off the loom. You will leave the class with a wall hanging and your very own weaving kit including the loom.

This time, they’ve got textile artist, Saman Ahmad, who’s going to take you through a guided experience of tapestry weaving.
