We’ve planned our next Weekend of Awesome event for all of you and this time, we’re learning all about Kombucha making. An effervescent, fermented tea, Kombucha is a sweet and sour probiotic that strengthens your gut and is all the rage these days.
The session will be held in collaboration with Khukrain’s Kombucha at the new Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters’ cafe in Vasant Kunj. Achintya Anand, who’s the founder of Krishi Cress and Khukrain’s Kombucha, will be hosting the session. Khukrain’s has almost 30 years worth of experience and they even use their own fresh produce to brew and ferment the Kombucha.
Participants will learn everything from starting a Kombucha batch, fermenting it to bottling and flavouring it on their own. Khukrain’s will also be doing a Kombucha tasting session and they’ll have a small bottle for everyone to take home.
