What Is It?

The Leela Ambience Gurugram is offering a whole week of exclusive Kayasth delicacies, specially curated by the renowned author and columnist, Ms. Anoothi Vishal, and prepared by the hotel’s Master Chef, Ajay Sahoo. The food festival promises to be a feast of hallmark Kayasth flavours, with heavy use of spices, specially black cardamom for a sweet and heady aromas. It’s on from Saturday, August 11th till Sunday, August 19th, 2018 at Diya-Simply Indiya.

Who Is It For?

Anyone who's big on spicy (and/or experimental food) that's full of flavour. Or really, anyone who's up for trying a cool, new cuisine.

Why Should I Go For It?

Choose from a wide range of items on the menu as you begin the meal with succulent shami kebabs and farre lentil dumplings. Satiate those hunger pangs with fragrant yakhni pulao with luscious kachhe keema ke kofte or sookhi urad ki dal and mangori-matar ki tahiri. End the course with some rich milky desserts such as makhane ki kheer and lauki ki lauj.

We’re really intrigued to try out this collection of Indo-Islamic style savoury deliciousness.

Anything Else?

Try true-blue Kayasth flavours at the food festival and try out exotic dishes to understand the art of this lost cuisine through the interesting lineup of dishes.
