Liquor Ban: Happy Hour Is Over For These Restaurants In Gurgaon

Following the SC’s confirmation that the 500-metre liquor ban around state and national highways will apply to restaurants as well {not just thekas}, lots of bars and pubs in Gurgaon have been left high and dry. Cyber Hub’s establishments have been hit the hardest, but the booze isn’t flowing as freely as it used to in Aerocity and Sector 29 as well.

Here’s a list of all the restaurants in Gurgaon that have been impacted by the liquor ban; make alternate plans this weekend.

Hotels

The Oberoi, The Leela Kempinski, Hyatt Regency, The Westin Gurgaon, Crowne Plaza, The Westin {Sohna road}, both Galaxy & Galaxy Hotel & Spa have all lost their license to serve alcohol.

Restaurants In Cyber Hub

Social’s liquor license has not been renewed, following the liquor ban. Other restaurants in Cyber Hub that have been affected include Raasta, The Wine Company, Imperfecto, The Beer Café, Farzi, Hard Rock, Soi7 and Sutra.

Restaurants In Sector 29

Famous for its quirky cocktails, Prankster is also on this list of establishments hit by the SC’s ruling. In addition, Batli 29, Factory, Adda by Striker, Walking Street, Divino, Sasuraal, Swagath, The Flying Saucer Café will not be pouring drinks as of now.
