Dastkar Nature Bazaar regularly hosts a bunch of melas around the year. We’re here to talk about Little Green Yard, a permanent stall there that stocks a range of natural, organic products.

Seedy Business

Little Green Yard was started by Dr Urvashi Verma, a Ph.D in Himalayan Medicinal Plants with an underlying love for plants. They source and package their own seeds; so if you’ve been looking for sunflower, pumpkin, flax, or chia seeds, you’ll find it all here.

Not only are they homegrown, they’re super reasonably priced, almost and maybe more than half of what you’d usually find elsewhere. Looking for dried plums, ginger, and amla? They have that too.

Here’s Some Honey

Winter’s here, so maybe you’re looking for some honey to stock in your shelves? We say give Dabur a break {which although cheaper, is super refined and not the purest, healthiest form of honey} and pick yourself a jar of artisanal honey by Societe Naturelle. We’ve tried raw, forest, and lychee honey and it’s delicious.

While you’re taking your pick of honey, we say pick up a pack of herbal teas as well—chamomile or rhododendron perhaps. Go on further ahead and pick some apricot or plum jam by Kilmora, handmade oats and walnut cookies, black sesame and amaranth laddoos, and other healthy snacks.

Under The Skin

They have a range of brands doing skin and haircare products too, our favourite being Neev {pick up their Almond oil or even the eye cream—quite amazing}. There’s SOS with face creams and salves too. They’ve also got herbal bath soaps, facial sprays, solid perfumes and more.

This tiny stall is seriously a treasure trove for those who love organic food and wellness products. Go on, take the healthy route!

Follow them on Facebook here. {You can even purchase products here}
